Laughter Yoga turns 21!

On 13 March 1995, physician Dr Madan Kataria stood in a park in a busy city in India and started to laugh.

Twenty-one years later, he is still laughing and so are thousands upon thousands more.

Dr Kataria had released Laughter Yoga on the world, a healthful antidote to the seriousness, stress and worries of everyday living, now practised in about 100 countries.

I for one am so very grateful to have tapped this inner joyfulness. Happy 21st Birthday Laughter Yoga! And you Dr Kataria are a very good fellow!!!

In love and laughter, Heather Joy

Testimonial

"Heather Joy’s laughter yoga session was the most fun I’ve had at work in a long time! It was great to do it as a group – a team building exercise in itself. I definitely got a dose of therapy and endorphins, a workout for my lungs, and came away with a new tool to de-stress at the end of a day."
